* 1.  INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
***********************************************************
Microsoft Windows* XP Installation Instructions for
F71611RG Driver (FintekCir.sys)
1.  Double Click on the "My Computer" icon, then double click on the "Control Panel" icon, 
    and then double click on the "System" icon.
2.  Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager".Click on the "System Devices". The 
    "eHome Infrared Transceiver" should be listed and have yellow exclamation mark(!). 
3.  Right-click on the "eHome Infrared Transceiver" in the device manager 
    ,choose 'properties' item page and select "Update Driver" for install driver.
4.  Please do not choose Windows Update to search software for install, please choose "Next" for next step.
5.  Select "Install from a list or specific location" and click "Next".
6.  Select "Included this location in the search" and click "Browse" in the right.
7.  Select "CIR\CIR XP" location from the driver CD, click "Ok",and click "next".
8.  Click "continue anyway" when you have warning message of regarding Windows Logo issue.

* 2.  VERIFYING INSTALLATION OF THE SOFTWARE

1.  Double Click on the "My Computer" icon, then double click on the "Control Panel" icon, 
    and then double click on the "System" icon.
2.  Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager".Click on the "System Devices". The 
    "Fintek eHome Infrared Transceiver" should  be listed and not yellow exclamation (!). If still 
    have exclamation mark (!) meansthe driver is  not installed correctly.
    (You should unistall and re-install the driver again). 
    To check the version of the driver, refer to the section below.

* 3.  IDENTIFYING THE SOFTWARE VERSION NUMBER

1.  Double Click on "Fintek eHome Infrared Transceiver".
2.  Select the "Driver" tab and then click on the "Driver Details" button.
3.  The function driver (FintekCir.sys) version should be listed on this screen.

* 4.  UNINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
************************************************************
NOTE: This procedure assumes the above installation process was successful. This 
      uninstallation procedure is specific only to the version of the driver and 
      installation files included in this package.

1.  Click "Start" then right click on the "My Computer" icon and then click on properties.
2.  Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager". 
3.  Double click on "System Devices".
4.  Right click on "Fintek eHome Infrared Transceiver" and select properties
5.  Click on the "uninstall" button to uninstall the driver.
